For those of you who requested a copy of the prayer of commitment we prayed together on Sunday:“God, I believe that you own everything and know everything and can do anything and love me perfectly.
I want to say to you that from this moment forward I lay down my agenda, and if You ask I will lay down my life
I want what you want and if what I want is ever different from what you want I will call upon your grace and power and I will do what you want
If you will show me your will I will trust you enough to do what you say.

I wasn’t able to make it to Northstar this past Sunday, but I just prayed the prayer. It is awesome and I have prayed a siilar prayer often in the past. I guess that this is God speaking to me through others, once again. Peace and joy truly come when we truly surrender our will and our lives to God’s care and to the service of others. There are opportunities each and every day and oftentimes it is touching one life at a time.
